Its always been the case,perhaps because as a town supporter i notice it more.when we were in the prem,motd could never pronounce nijholt or on occasions, fjortoft and even horlock was regulary called hurlock

Once introduced as Nij Lucholt by a matchday announcer. Think it was away somewhere. Be nice if the PA people could do a bit of research on how to get the pronunciations right. Attention to detail and all that. At least our one doesn't rattle through the opposition line up in less than 5 nanoseconds anymore. |
