It's interesting to see the differences.

I wouldn't be surprised if our owner had never given the matter any thought until last Saturday afternoon.

Should be an all ticket match with all seats a tenner. This should include season ticket holders. Why should they get it free whilst others have to fork out again ?
Because we are special 🖒

It's not as big as some people are making out. Our fans are such drama queens.

Because the ST covers all league matches. ST holders don't complain when the club puts on promos on cheap tickets.

I did say that anyone with a ticket for last Saturday should've been able to get a 50% discount on the replayed game, but I don't think the club would be able to do it, as the only way would have been to buy it direct from the club, and due to the club being run on a shoestring, there could've been a number of thousand turn up in the club shop over the coming weeks.

probably not cost effective to the club mind!

Apologies if this has already been mentioned before, but I hope Clarke is confident of his own club's policy:

Anyone know if fans were charged full price again following Rovers' abandoned game at Wycombe in 2012?

https://bristolroverssc.co.uk/2012/08/28/1703/

Coach ticket refund for Away travel v Wycombe game that was abandoned on Saturday.

Bristol Rovers Supporters Club would like to remind those who travelled up on the Supporters Club coach that they are entitled to a full coach ticket refund. The Supporters Coach Away travel is insured against matches called off when on the way to the match or if the match is abandoned after it has started. Supporters who travelled to Wycombe on the Supporters’ Club coach should return the ticket to the BRSC shop  at  199 Two Mile Hill Road Kingswood Bristol BS15 1AZ or to Pirate Leisure at the Memorial Stadium.

Regarding match tickets, Wycombe Wanderers will give a refund on match tickets purchased. To arrange a refund on your match ticket, we have been notified that the only way to do this is to telephone Wycombe Wanderers 01494 441118.

Eh? What's that got to do with the price of fish? If they can sell 1000 tickets at full price, they can sell 1000 at half price.

I bet Williams *loved* the idea of having to talk about this to the BBC.

I think he is saying that they would sell more tickets at 50% and our shoestring ticket office couldn't cope with the demand.
