It seems that matchday apathy has started early this season. Almost 10:30 and nobody else could be arsed to start the thread.
The score could be almost anything tonight, but the second part of it is almost certain to be "Nil". Let's at least hope we don't pick up any more injuries.

I thought it would quite apt not to bother at all....we're already into Brent band style Foregone Conclusion territory.

I'm in the home end for this one, so hopefully we don't embarrass ourselves. Gillingham have started really well and are full of confidence. We'll probably do better if they play their own game rather than stifle us a la Chesterfield. Still think we'll lose though, same scoreline as Saturday

Be amazed if it's anything other than a home win. Could be a heavy one as well if we're on the back foot for large periods. Ropey defence and no outlet up front, 3-0.

4-0 Gills, owing to our lack of defenders, lack of defensive competence regardless, and having no strikers.

We've won there once in my life time That was a team that included the likes of Fraser, Colin Calderwood, Tim Parkin, Chalkie, Jimmy Quinn and Alan Mac. No Priestfield is a graveyard.....it's early doors, but avoiding a complete Scunny/Fleetwood style tonking, would be something.

None of our strikers have scored yet but we have found the net in all 3 games so I must be missing something here

If he plays 4-6-0 though i'll hang myself.

Well reg ive lived in kent since 1986 and this will be the first gillingham swindon fixture ive missed since then.all those games have yielded 3 draws and several defeats.so me not being there will hopefully give us a rare victory

What about our 0-1 win in the 1930-31 season? http://swindon-town-fc.co.uk/MatchCentre.asp?Tab=NewspaperReport&MatchID=19310116

I cannot see anything other than a heavy defeat unfortunately I just hope it is not too demoralising for the young team, 3 -0 .
