Good to see that even at international level the 'wanky Swindon short pass out from the keeper' is alive and well.

God, it's dull.

Nooooo! You can't say that.  Don't you know there may be an over-sensitive Croat or Portugeezer reading this forum who might misinterpret your comment as a racist attack?   Girl Giggle

The Welsh just seem to love mentioning England at any opportunity. .

that's because they have an inferiority.

Indeed. It's either "they're always talking about us and not giving us enough credit" or "THEY'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT US AT ALL! WHY! they're not giving us enough credit."

One of the biggest losses the ECB has had in my time was Simon Jones, I think he could have been one of the best bowlers in the world had injury not curtailed his career, he was unplayable in 2005.

I remember his old man Jeff. He was that rarity in English (and Welsh) cricket a left arm quick..a long run, very upright front on action with a lot of shoulder...he got it through.

Jeff was our leading wicket taker in the drawn 65/66 Ashes series down under....a lot of hard yakka. He'd have enjoyed Perth, but back then Perth wasn't used, as its economic boom just  happening, but 6-118 at Adelaide gives you an idea.

Jeff had even less of a career than Simon, because his action fucked his elbow, done at 26. They must have some interesting conversations as Welsh fast bowlers fucked by injury playing for England.

Just fed up of people criticising Wales. Such an achievement to get where we are. Yes, I may harp on about it, but only cos England under achieve, there is no need to mock the Welsh.
TBF it was a shit match and the better team lost (not taking a pop, just saying it as it is)

What a shame ITV has got the France v Ireland game.  I was looking forward to seeing Thierry Henry getting some stick for his 'hand of a cheat' goal in 2009.

Instead of that, no doubt, we'll have to endure more of that 'thoroughbred' Irishman Andy O'Townsend (whose father was born in Swindon).  Suicide
