Russia losing to Slovakia.  Brilliant result for several reasons.

It must mean we'll go top of the group if we beat Wales tomorrow.  And if we draw, 2nd place would still be guaranteed with a win vs Slovakia in the final game.  The key is to avoid defeat to Wales tomorrow.

Russian fans let a flare off just after they scored. Chuck them out!

Lille - very nice stadium, great atmosphere with the roof closed.
The Slovak Massive seem like a decent bunch.
Good win over the imperialist aggressors, hopefully Wales will put them out of everyone's misery in the last game.

England must at least avoid defeat tomorrow, otherwise it's squeaky bum time.

Just spotted Gordon Strachan in the Eurostar departure lounge.
I guess the Scottish FA's expense account doesn't stretch to an overnight stay to catch the England game as well.

If Russia look out of it by the Wales game, it could get very messy, with their ultras thinking there's nothing to lose.

Except a World Cup, hopefully.

I read somewhere that the Rooskies want to have a pop at their Polish and Swedish counterparts before they head home.

I'm developing a definite soft spot for Albania.

The Russians are seemingly trying to be the pariahs of international sport. Their athletes surely will not be in Rio after this :

Rightly so. I'm enjoying this. And, I'll stick my neck out here, if Albania get a draw the French will be a lot more gracious than a certain Portuguese gentleman.

It'll certainly make my day more enjoyable tomorrow if France don't beat them...... Wink

My enjoyment of tomorrow has very little to do with the French result.

Shame for Albania but glad Payet grabbed a second on the counter attack, I've got a few quid on him getting the golden boot
