I always find the comparison to the Rugby team interesting.
It's hard to compare as there are very few countries that play, let alone that are any good at Rugby.
True...for example in Australia, union, isn't even the biggest rugby game...that's league. England has by for the most players, money, professional clubs etc, so should be at the top. I've always been surprised that the Hun never took to rugby...cricket more understandable, but I read recently that due to its changing demographic, cricket is growing in Germany. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36461853Had the Germans the benefit of the civilising effects of cricket, history may have been so different |

Belgium seem to be improving with each game. Obviously with Hungary going toe to toe with them helped as Belgium ran riot at times. Hazard was unplayable. De Bruyne and Lukaku haven't hit top form yet and they need to get shot of Mertens as well, he is well below the standard of the rest of the side. Good luck to Wales but for monetary reasons I need Belgium to win handsomely this evening. |
