Jordan Young becomes the Towns 3rd youngest scorer after Paul Rideout and Andy Caton at 16 years 281 days.

Good to go out on a win and finally put an end to the season.
Shit season in a shit league.
Less of a northern bias next season so that's a bonus.

Power needs to get business done early this year to get a decent preseason into the squad but that's for later.

Well, without the 2 bad injury spells we'd have probably been up there or abouts. But every cloud etc, looks like we have a lot of promising youngsters, that probably wouldn't have got a chance in a "normal" season. As above I reckon the next 2 weeks are key, before everyone buggers off to vegas, magaluf etc.

So, Northampton, Oxford and Bristol Rovers... plus potentially Portsmouth coming up... Charlton & Franchise coming down... Not too bad in terms of 'shorter' distance to away games for next season.

A nothing game that we totally dominated from start to finish - but for the woodwork it would have been 5.  Shrewsbury offered very little but when they did get a one on one the keeper saved it well.  He looked fairly composed and did nothing wrong, really liked the look of Jordan Young when he came on - although really impossible to say too much when he only had 15 mins or so - one for the future no doubt.  JSW in the centre of what was really a back 2 did ok and allowed Nathan T. to get forward whenever he wanted which until the substitutions was with regularity.  That's another season done and dusted, perhaps best forgotten in the context of how things went for us.

Not picking on you here wooly, but I've lost count of the amount of people who have said this recently and, in fact, do every year. It never happens, it's not us. We wait until the last possible moment to get the cheapest deal possible.

Power alluded in his last phone in that 2 players were as good as done and would be joining as soon as the window opened and 2 others he was very hopeful for, so all being well we could have 4 sorted at the start of the window. We shall see.
