Being old, I have absolutely no idea what 'hippee crack' is. However, is this the stuff that Agbonlahor got suspended for?
Me, too. My first instinct was to think of Jane Fonda's lady parts

I looked it up: Nitrous Oxide or Laughing Gas is what I recognise it as.
Stupidity in the extreme for an athlete to mess about with this (or any other drug).

Dopey.
I reckon we could find candidiates in our squad for the other 6 Disney dwarfs....Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy. Interestingly the correct plural for dwarf is dwarfs, but Tolkien deliberately used the wrong, dwarves, which is now commonly in use.

Have to admit my mind wandered back to some of the lovely young things who enthusiastically dispensed free love back in the late 60's early 70's. A happy canyon of the mind....think I'll root around and see what I can find in it

Competely unprofessional and idiotic of them to do it and post it on social media. Leaves a bad taste and a feeling that they don't give a shit on the back of not winning in 6. Fine them a weeks wages and hope they learn

Abonglahor at villa suspended for doing this.
No he wasn't -he wasn't considered for selection during a brief investigation, after which no further action... Don't let the facts get in the way though.

What's the difference between "not considered for selection" and "suspended" when talking club internal affairs?

The fact is that he was made unavailable by the club which was basically a suspension whilst they investigated the issue. All the articles I can find on this story state that he was SUSPENDED during the investigation. These include articles after it was lifted.

AFAIK, Nitrous Oxide is neither illegal nor harmful is it? Isn't this just a massive storm in a teacup, largely contrived by the media calling Nitrous Oxide "hippie crack" to make it sound scarier than it really is? i.e. if they ran stories saying "Player X was caught taking laughing gas" the average reaction would just be a shrug of the shoulders, whereas by "rebranding" it they make it sound like some really dangerous drug and so can manufacture a scandal where there really isn't any issue, is there? Thought the same when the media tried to whip up a scandal around Agbonlahor as well tbh, not just because it's our players involved.

I once took Helium, straight from a balloon! there, I said it.
Isn't this the stuff the dentist used to use for extractions, if so, great stuff, never liked the dentists since they stopped using it.

Maybe we should all be given a quick blast of it as we go through the turnstiles at the CG. Does anyone know if the effect lasts for 90 minutes?

More like 90 seconds. Probably not even that.
