Whilst I'd probably waver over making Rix babysitter of the year, I'm also pretty convinced that Oxford United (as much as I hate them) don't make a habit of employing sex offenders, and this kind of shit belongs on Facebook or something.

He will never get a job in professional football again. People have been hurt. Let's move on. There's enough to bully them lot over without sinking that low.

But Rix did get a job there, so depending on what sentence he gets Johnson might play again. There are very few scruples in football. They don't agree/run by normal people's laws or moral compasses.

I was actually quite surprised the mackems moved as quickly as they did, although I do suspect that may have had more to do with commercial interests rather than morals? Adidas dropped Johnson very quickly and I do wonder whether they threatened to do likewise with Sunderland if they didn't act?
