Also, if i was AJ i would tell my sister to simmer down with the cringy "he's innocent" appeals.
The whole thing is becoming a circus, with so many parties using it to promote their own aims I feel very sorry for the lass (the victim not AJ sister).
We have certain parts of the media using it salaciously to illustrate that football is morally lost and that the players earn too much (thereby justifying their earlier obsession with the issue) and this coinciding with the Evans appeal is just heaven for them.
The various 'statements' attributed to the victim and being released throughout the trial seemed unnecessary, especially as it was obvious that they had not been written by the poor lass, it did seem strange that they seemed to be trying to influence the trial externally which I didn't think was really allowed.
Now we have his sister wittering on and the NSPCC getting involved (who should rightly do so but does it really need this publicity) - I fear the poor girl is being used and let down by so many different people and organisations to serve their own agendas, many who should know a damn sight better!
Anyway hopefully will calm down now the sentencing is done (or will be shortly) and she can try to rebuild her life in peace.
