There's no way they now look like that without some cosmetic surgery. Their face shape is now totally different.
In terms of Adam Johnson, he hasn't really got any defence, which is why he obviously pleaded guilty. Actually, why is a trial taking place if he pleaded guilty or are these additional charges?
I feel really sorry for his girlfriend. Regardless of why she's stuck by him, it must be pretty shit and demeaning listening to all the detail in court.
He's pleaded guilty to kissing her and grooming (via whatsapp) but not the sexual activity. The Court reports on Friday indicate something took place in the car that was more than just kissing. By pleading not guilty, he's also forcing the girl to give evidence. The Judge will undoubtedly take this into account when sentencing. I think he will get 2 years or more. And career over at 28. |

Stupid man. How did it all come to the hands of the police? Did the girl go to the police with her family?
I think she told her Mum who took it to the police. With regards to the offence, "sexual activity" is actually a pretty broad term in UK law when it comes to those under 16 (but over 13). I won't go into detail, but kissing could indeed count. |
