Hope its better than the shower of shit that ooooo Shaun Taylor was (briefly) involved with a few years back.

I've never been there, isn't their setup quite decent?

Dave hockaday set up the cirencester academy years ago. Other colleges followed suit and they basically play the level below our youth's. Was a big player in Watford's youth set up after that.
He deserves more credit and respect than he gets.

That shower Shaun Taylor was involved with told kids they were good when they weren't. I remember they played my son's age group and were terrible.
Never saw any of their boys get a trial despite them saying they were a stepping stone into stfc. It's a bit like these other ads you see saying they can get you trials. It's a con.

Presuming you are talking of Supermarines set up,have not been there for a while meself.
They are in the finishing stages of having a covered 3g training pitch and other top notch training facillities(spolling)
Perhaps Lee Power could learn something from Jes Webb.

I revel in our ex-players commentating. They feel the match rather than just being objective. Still attached. Funny old game, football.

He's still shit at idioms.

I wanted to tell him to fuck the right off every time he said 'Gillingham started like a house on fire'

I do agree - and I only listened to a small portion of the commentary! He kept making jokes about hair too which really didn't work on the radio.
Bring back super Sam please!

Haha I laughed at that - didn't he make some comment about him and Dack going to the same barber? NOBODY CAN SEE EITHER OF YOU DAVE, THE JOKE DOESN'T WORK.

He was rather scathing about some player's haircut

I can't remember who and I honestly don't care

Ells, is there a name for a psychological hair fixation?

I thought his comments at Blackpool were sound - obviously critical about Town's inability to defend properly and repeating the same mistakes, but saying it in a way that was not overly harsh, which probably reflects why he is respected as a coach of young players.
