Is a lucky guy.He handballed Roberts' shot outside the area and had roberts not scored surely he would have been off??

i said to the dude next to me that surely the ref should've booked him atleast. a professional foul is a professional foul, but to be fair the dickhead probably didn't even notice

I didnt realise but my mate next to me said the keeper was lucky Roberts scored ohterwise he would have been off.

Yeah, was wondering about that. Not sure of the rule to be honest but would have felt sorry for him if he was sent off.

It is a straight red under rule 12 if Roberts had been thwarted, but the ref IMHO did the righ things and let play continue. He could have yellow carded him for unsporting behaviour or a 'foul' but what did it matter.

Doesn't this mean a retrospective red could've been given despite the goal, like a ref booking someone for a foul after allowing play to continue? I'm just intrigued would've been harsh obviously
