It won't be Power. It's also very doubtful to be Williams, considering he wasn't willing to even be caretaker when Cooper left.

Agreed. If it's in-house then it's Embleton... and that would one hell of a risk.

Perhaps someone 'better' than us might fancy a 5-month gig.

THe appointment of Lingy told us that Power was looking for a low wage bargain, and I don't suppose that is any different now. Rambo could be realistic I suppose.

A real shame personally for Lingy. As for its impact, we really have no idea what it means as we have no idea what, if any, influence he had.

No good manager is going to touch STFC with a barge pole, since we dismissed PDC we've been chewing up anyone who wants the job and are now looking at 3rd manager this season. Power isn't going to put money into a named manger or the spine of the team. So barring a take over from a very wealth consortium its not looking good for the town or its fans. If we avoid the drop them we should all go out on the lash because it's going to take something special. The only saving grace is that we haven't reached the transfer window so a new manager may know a few players to give us lift but I feel (glad to be wrong) its going to be another, from inside the club appointment. Happy new year.

One of the advantages of having a management team, is that when one bit drops out it should be reasonably painless to find a replacement, provided they're prepared to subscribe to the model.

Well wasn't expecting that.
