Good morning all! I trust you had a merry Christmas and we look forward to a bountiful Boxing Day. Christmas here is on the 7th of January so yesterday was just another day in the salt mines for me.

Town to continue their climb 2-0.  Starwars The force has awakened!

Is everyone optimistic today? Think we'll lose this one.

It's interesting, and been the subject of many a pub conversation....the consensus seems to be that the traditional bumper crowd, won't happen, because (a) people have got out of the habit (b) many people evacvuate Swindon at Christmas (c) public transport, non existent.....see Ells. Personally no idea.

You'd expect at least 1000 from the Pikeys, given it's their cup final, and they're going well.  Hopefully they're quarantined on the Bank and it pisses down with rain.

The last I heard was that the Trust commissioned a survey into what is under the Bank.  Now my guess would be a load of railway clnker, ballast etc, which was probably delivered when sidings were up to the back of the Bank. If that is the case, then I'd imagine it would mean it might complicate any roof supports, for a "cheap" style job. Just my hunch of course.
