Any idea where he's from?

I can't work it out from his name 'Seamus Brady'...

I think he may be Oirish.... http://www.hoganstand.com/Meath/ArticleForm.aspx?ID=142587

Interesting that he expects him to handle meetings with the Council etc - an ex video analyst. Would have thought that is more Steve Anderson's role.

Suppose you can give anybody a title - it means nothing without the job spec. Ling isn't your average manager is he. God knows where the split of responsibilities lie with the club at the moment.
My understanding is that his meetings with the council will be limited to getting the permissions etc. for the new training ground - his main responsibility at the moment is to get that project up and running!  After that, who knows . . . . . . .

At least it isn't Flexo. Then we'd know he was up to no good.

Now appointed Academy Director.

Has he actually done anything of note in the time he has been here?

Was he ever supposed to do anything of note (to us)? Not standing out doesn't mean he didn't do well at whatever it was he was bought in to do.

Not to anyone's knowledge.  His original remit seemed to be to do with recruitment, and looking after the shop when Power is away.

Recruitment has been abysmal, and we've been relegated with what has been widely regarded, as the worst management combo and squad in our history. Not exactly a glittering CV.....

We lost a few back room types last season to FGR, not sure they were ever replaced.

No-one apparently. Athough it says restructure.
In my work experience, restructure means cuts.
