In the last 10 years there have been so many over-rated players going for big money.

The one that comes immediately to mind is Fernando Torres.

For me the most over-rated over priced player I have seen in the last 10 years is Raheen Sterling.

What is your opinons?

He lost it at Chelsea but Torres' fee was totally understandable, he was outstanding for Liverpool

Of course Darren Bent

I think Phil Jones is a bit harsh though

Raheem Sterling is one of the most overrated England players I have seen in a long time, made to look a bit silly tonight against Spain, contributed nothing!  Yet for Man City he looks half decent, but is a long way from a good international player!

Torres was the best striker in the world at one stage. Chelsea ruined him playing left wing

Fucker still scored against us and gave the TE the hundred yard stare.

My opinion is that this is a shit thread that has no bearing on STFC so why bother? This is  a Swindon forum not a wannabee prem moan fest.

That goal was well offside and should never have stood.

Torres's fee was justified but Liverpool going and spunking the majority of it immediately on Andy Carroll was laughable.
