The point that I'm making - and that you're choosing to ignore (deliberately or otherwise) - is that the reason we are 'living hand to mouth' is down to systemic, long-term financial mismanagement.  Were we not the basket case I referred to earlier (a point you agree with), we would have achieved significantly more during our recent history.

If the management of the club's affairs was better managed then, yes, of the 48 lower league clubs I do believe that we are near the top in terms of potential.  I would illustrate the point by asking which, of the other 47 clubs who have also been consistently outside of the upper 2 divisions during the last 15 years, attract larger crowds than we do.  I do not have the answer...but it's not many.  Conversely, there are a great many clubs with smaller fanbases than ours that have graced those top 2 divisions since we last did in 1999/2000.

I don't think the points I'm making are particularly controversial.

And no, I've never considered a career in politics, thanks.

Watched an oldish youtube video of us v Ipswich.

Can't for the life of me remember why away fans were given the Town End and we were stuffed onto the Bank.

What the fuck was all that about?
