I reckon he knew he was going after hearing his interview yesterday, either that or he was pissed.

Nothing yells out masculinity more than when a load of blokes objectify women on an internet message board for a third tier football team.

Oh dont get me wrong; objectifying anybody is one of my favorite things. It helps me feel better about myself. In so many ways.

Indeed. I removed the cork from my good lady's wine bottle for her this evening.

I've seen more testosterone in a prostate removal surgery survival forum.

Is it possible to remove the prostate?

Is that some kind of metaphor?

People seem to be upset about the statement but I'm not sure why? What were they expecting?

seems a fairly normal statement. in fact hoping to appoint by the end of the month, and ruling power out was more than I expected.

I guess people were wondering why Williams didn't step up, but I'm sure that'll be more apparent as time goes on. I'm assuming no news simply means he didn't fancy it or wasn't deemed suitable, but is still doing his thing.

No, but I did pop her cork for her later on if that satisfies your daily metaphor quota?

My issue with this whole thing is that I feel Lee Power is just using the club as a shop window for making money. He buys in good players on the cheap and sells them at a profit for what I can see is just personal gain.

Any success on the pitch is a by-product of this process and not the main driver. He talks a good game about training grounds, re-development and sustainability as a club which is all well and good but fans want success on the pitch ahead of anything else.

Maybe I am missing a point, maybe he is in it for the long term and we will follow other successful clubs into the championship but on a more sustainable footing. Who knows ??
