Power taking temporary charge. Jesus wept.

Has Williams gone too? Head on the bloke down the pub grapevine that Power and Williams had a bust up - probably Chang proportion BS but...

Chairman caretaker. It would be quite funny if it wasn't us. Hope it's temporary, I like Power's recruitment but nobody should do both jobs.

I was just going to say that.
Managing by FaceTime? Maybe we'll have an actual puppet in charge for a bit. Can't be any worse.

What are they going to do? Prop up a mobile phone on speaker in the dugout so he can dial in his touchline instructions from Geneva? That'll upset the "passion" bloke behind me - "Look at that mobile, just stood there leaning against the dugout, no passion, no inspiration"

Yeah, but it's 90 days out of one calendar year. Must have clocked up a few days already.

Maybe we'll get Sepp Blatter

Only reason for Power to be in temp charge is if Williams has gone as well as there are no other coaches. Unless he genuinely has put himself in charge in front of Williams which would be a real worry.

Maybe keeping the seat warm for Sherwood....he'll be gone soon.

In terms of managerial ability, Evans all day long. But he's a fat odious odourous prick. Whereas Sherwood has a body warmer.  Hmmm.

Then again, Twitter's DP Hunt suggests Kevin Nolan player/manager. Not entirely sure he's not just pulling a Lomas though. Edit: Yup - total chain yank

RE: Sherwood. Within modern times, you simply don't go from managing a Premier League side to dropping down to League One at one fell swoop. Too much pride.

Sherwood's friendship with Power has resulted in approximately no favours loan players during 2015-16 and if they truly are best pals then why jeopardise this with working together is tough circumstances?

Steve Evans might be a candidate. Ugh, we're hardly the most loved football team out there. Imagine that. Shudder.
