And another annoying thing is that league 1 is so fucking bad. Sheffield
United were the best team I've seen this year and they were very ordinary.

Frustrating that we look so uncompetitive even against 'poor' sides

And Gladwin won't pass the ball because I guess he knows his teammates aren't that good.
So many negatives at the moment.

It's alright though, we've got a lot of northern away games on boggy pitches to come.

We'll get some points there..

I think a lot of his signings have been a bit of a 'panic'.

I think we made a massive mistake in signing ajose. We should've bought a cb and possibly a keeper. Too many loan players.

But it seemed to be what most of the "managers" on here wanted!

This is what I keep telling the happy clappers.

Before Turnbulls red at the Pox we were good enough to compete but never ever looked liked scoring.

Worryingly, things could be a lot worse. We were fairly lucky to take 4 points v Bradford (H) and Crewe (A). Although the second half against Bradford was very good (Byrne baby Byrne).

The defence is a big worry, and I just don't see NT making much difference.

As Power dictates the style of play

Style of play is one thing. The system in which the style of play is manifest is different.

I think we have the squad of players but we have a manager who who won't change.

As regards change, it can't happen....we're locked into method of recruitment and playing.

Ah well.

Paul Hart?
Sadly I think by now even Miranda Hart would be an improvement.

Ah well.

The two previous seasons it worked, this season it isn't.....OK we go down, but can still use the model in Div 4, where it is a bit easier, with only 2 down and 4 up.

That's the most depressing optimistic post I've ever read.

Could he have blamed inexperience any more times... Do we really have 90% of our first team missing?

There isn't a manager in world football that could have got group of players anywhere near a draw let alone a win.  That was the worst midfield we've put out since 05/06. Ajose and Stewart both trying to make runs, midfield couldn't have been less interested in trying to feed them if they tried.

Bring back Nile Ranger. At least Ajose could play with him
