Any body from now on who asks about training ground rent, loans, or where's the money gone, should be pointed at that interview, and then banned if they repeat the question. No doubt though some of the clowns on the adver will still be rehashing those in a month.

Non committal - said he and Williams would talk after Saturday's game, mentioned he had a couple of (unnamed) targets too. Got the impression Williams isn't sure about taking it but at the same time he didn't say it had been offered. Any more players going? Anyone coming in? Loans or perms?
Said a couple more fringe players could leave, then used Smith as the example. Working on bringing a couple in..Could see Thompson back but he's injured and he talked about "weeks". Said he's chasing Stephens but 2 championship clubs are in and it depends if they could guarantee first team footy - because we can. Clarified el-Abd - change of manager...couldn't guarantee him football which he deserves....Seemed a bit of a shit answer to me when in the next breath he mentioned Stephens - who knows... Missed the rest myself, will listen back later. |
