Not as if 9 months salary compensation would amount to much to get shot of him.

Something stinks

That though is very much contrary to the model.....think it was DV who suggested that Power might not be too concerned about trying to do the same in Div 4, so will be interesting to see how he reacts.

Ultimately Powers model is all about the off field side of things. Getting in young players on loan, signing a few Prem reject and non league players to try and turn a profit is not dictated by which division we are in.

So, it's plausibly that Power will not throw anything extra into a relegation dog fight and if we do go down - he won't bust a gut trying to get us back. He will just carry on with his model which isn't reslly determind by on pitch success.

I could well be wrong and it's a lot of second guessing on my part.

Here are some comparisons to 2010-11. I'm not sure if there's any relevance as board, management and staff have changed almost completely (Nathan Thompson featured in 10-11). However, you can certainly look at the below and see the danger signs beginning to emerge (poorer defensive record and an increase in players used).

In football terms, yeah, I'm concerned. That's not to say that I'm losing much sleep because there is plenty of time to sort things out but we cannot afford to wait and see like they did in 2010-11.

Like 2010-11, a 'decent' squad has been assembled. Lets not dick around and see Town take two steps back yet again.

To say that we played well today is a disgrace, even if he was protecting his players or not. It was limp and weak without creating anything special in 90 minutes against a very average team. Worried about Tuesday think we'll get a pasting.

One of the biggest worries for me this year is just how fucking boring we are to watch. Even when we were total shite a few years back there were bits of excitement in the games, just not getting that this year. The drive home felt quicker than the 90 minute game,
