Feels a disjointed and drifting club to me. Has done since Wembley.

The transfer window did temporarily allay those fears, Power put money in for some good players credit there, but they are creeping back in.  Can't quite put my finger on it.

On Cooper, I wasn't there today so can't comment on his post match. But in the past I've wondered if he was watching a different game with his "played well" line. Up to now I have assumed that's him just protecting his squad, trying to defuse the reaction to a bad performance.

Beat Oxford and win on Saturday and everything will be fine again mind!

For the Oxford game, we'll barely be able to field a squad without a number of youth team players....rather like v Newport.

Think we just have to accept that in the present circumstances we're probably for the first time ever v Oxford massive underdogs.

It was pretty obvious, that replacing the players we lost in the summer and then just before the window closed was going to be difficult.  There was some quality, so it was never going to be easy, and so it's proved.  Throw in  misfortune with injuries, and we are in a relegation dog fight.

What now becomes interesting is normal wisdom is you scrap your way out of a mess....like Kingy just about managed after T*dd's side didn't work.

That though is very much contrary to the model.....think it was DV who suggested that Power might not be too concerned about trying to do the same in Div 4, so will be interesting to see how he reacts.

We have no players that can scrap though, that's what concerns me.

Just not against Oxford, so let's wait a few more days.

Exactly.  So we have to have faith in the model, including Cooper.

To think this 5 game run was preceded by thoughts of promotion off the back of the Ajose, Thompson, Thomas and Ojamma signings...

A few mates have texted to say we got in some good positions but pass instead of shooting.

Last season they were flying in all over the place, despite our weakness at the back.

Boiled down, i suppose it's better to be shit now than in April.

I'd love to be in the relaxed 'it's only October' camp but this feels worrying.

If you rigidly stick to an opinion, be it relegation certs, or promotion contenders, you'll eventually be right.

At services.

If cooper said we played well then I'd love to know what game ge was watching. We looked good first 5/10 mins. After that it was shit. We had 1/2 shots the entire game and everytime we got into a good crossing/shooting position we passed it sideways or just generally pissed around with it. We didn't look like scoring the entire game.

We lost every day 50/50, louis was the only 1 in midfield putting himself about and getting stuck in. Don't understand why we have obika, our 6ft tall centre forward, playing left wing so that when we do get in decent positions, we have ajose we is tiny in the box. Today was infuriating.

I like Cooper but the last 3/4 months have been fucking shit and something needs to be done.
