Following Japans victory over South Africa in the rugger (100/1 in some bookies) , what would you choose as the biggest upsets . My personal opinion is James 'Buster' Douglas v Mike Tyson. Although IIRC was only 66/1.

I suppose Sutton beating Cov is still up there and hasn't been done since

Always remember the Faroe Islands beating Austria in the early 90's, although that wouldn't be such a shock nowadays.

When i was in year 7 my tutor group beat the favorites in the annual football tourney. I still remember scoring the winning goal to put us in the final.

Headingley, 1981.  England were 500-1 to win.

Or, once you understand the history and meaning of it...

Bristol City winning at Anfield.

Wrexham (4th division) beating reigning First Division champions Arsenal is probably more impressive a victory within the 1990's.
