Founded in 1950 Burton Albion are known as The Brewers .

They reside in Staffordshire  Upon the River Trent.

There is no one famous from Burton apart from  the expression "Gone for a Burton"

3-2 Jimmy Floyd going home unhappy.

First game of the season for us...and my little lads' debut in the Don Rogers'.  They've had the Don Rogers history lesson and everything.

Come on!!

Reckon he'll try to shore things up after last weeks midfield calamity, with Williams, L. Thompson and Traore starting, and Turnball pushed back to CB. Whoever plays, our bench today is going to look as good as it's been for a long time.

If we perform anything like we have the last couple of weeks, and can't get our intensity/ work rate sorted out, think there's a very good chance Burton will beat us.

Hopefully we'll see a reaction.

One of Burton's twin towns is Rochefort in France, home town of Pierre Loti who wrote exotic novels. My school library stocked copies of them in the original French to encourage the lads to learn French. Bon idée!
Town win 3-1 today. Please no drum.

1-1.

If you see a fortyish year old hobbling at granny pace slowly between Gorse Hill and the CG,feel free to point and laugh. My calf went pop yesterday, currently trying to work out how many hours it'll take to do the walk ..

We'll lose this, I can feel it in my water. One game a season does not make, however.

Twitter claims Burton have sold 1100 tickets, 8,000+ if that is correct.  1-1 for me.

Going to give the Town End a go today, will say 2-0 to us.

Where do you buy tickets from on the day? The store or the box office at the back of the TE?
