Any recommendations on hotels which offer free/cheap parking. Ideally west London as it's easier to get to. Ideally near to a tube station.

I found one in Hammersmith but parking is £1.50 per hour and isn't capped.

When and for how long? I can provide you with a 24 hour permit in Putney for about £6, about 2 minutes from the District line
