Very surprised by this signing, thought we had enough options in the front line

Maybe Williams and Standing have gone all Paolo and decided the players they've already signed are no longer good enough for their system and methodology.

He's 18. I'm guessing this is with a view to make it permanent.... one for the future and all that.

*Edit. Actually, after looking at the vid he's more of a midfielder than a forward. Erm, I don't know what to think now. This came from about as far leftfield as you can get.

Likely a sub and preparation for January, where we will likely lose Kasim and who knows who else.

Do you get the feeling something is happening at the CG? There's a definite vibe about the place - different from before.

Perhaps a plan B for Kent?

Or maybe it's just a player they'd been watching who became available. Or maybe they just think if we keep bringing in potentially brilliant players, one of them actually might be half decent!

This must have been sorted before our window shut and only just announced. Season long emergency loans from overseas clubs not allowed now

Well the BBC didn't 'understand' it did they. I'm not sure about this one. Seems a bit of a break from our model. The age is about right, but the kind of player isn't.

We're probably not getting Jordan Stewart back from Liverpool if his injury is as bad as they made out on t'interwebs.

So, we're getting a player the club know nothing about. Excellent!
