Anyone had one? I've just rest driven a 12 plate SRi with only 20k on the clock. Satnav, Bluetooth, cruise control.. The lot. Thinking of trading my 61 plate BMW 118d in for it.. More toys and a bigger car for less... Surely can't be a bad thing?

I had an Insignia estate as a courtesy car once, absolutely hated it. Felt like I was driving a tank, really chunky frame, poor visibility for an estate, and a really hard ride. Just in case I haven't made it clear, no I wouldn't recommend it.

I had a couple of Insignia's as courtesy/hire cars over the years - including a white SRI beast that has silly spoilers etc.

They all seemed to suffer the common Vauxhall fault that it felt like the steering wheel and front wheels were not necessarily attached to one another!

But as said above if you liked it go for it!

That's cool.. I think I may go for it, was just interested in other people's experiences.

A couple of ringing endorsements for Vauxhall there.

Recently ummed and ahhed between Insignia and Mondeo.

Went for Mondeo which is great - although the Insignia is a better looker

Mondeos are very exclusive now. Less of them on the road than BMW's or Audis.

Thought this was a thread about my favourite after shave of the 80's. I was easily pleased back then!

Not yet mate.. But it's in the pipeline so the change would be necessary at some point anyway.

we had an insignia. loved but the old common vauxhall diesel particular filter issue reared its ugly head on ours and shuddered and juddered like it was on kangaroo juice. i'd never own a diesel insignia again.

if it's petrol. away you go mate. great to drive

Saw an Insignia on the road today and it made me sing the lyrics from this...

My Mrs didn't have a clue what I was on about.
