Donkey's years ago we were playing Stockport County at home. We bumped into 4 or 5 SCFC fans who asked us where to go for a beer.
At that time we used to drink in the old BR Social Club just off Shrivvy Rd so we asked if they fancied joining us - cheap beer, easy parking, short walk to CG.
After a few beers they started singing some songs which were theirs - songs no other club sang. One of them chirped up 'Give us a song only Swindon sing'
After a few puzzled looks between us the only one we could come up with was
'SWINDON' clap clap clap 'SWINDON' clap clap clap!
It has always been thus!
