Amazing.

Can you imagine this happening in our pre-season? The response would be something else.

Is that a tin-pot I see?

It's this sort of drivel that comes out of clubs without press bans I tell you.

In all seriousness this is why I'm nonplussed about the whole media ban thing. It'd only be crap like this we'd be getting from the local press anyway. As I've said previously if the local journalists hadn't kicked up a stink we probably wouldn't have even noticed....
I'd be pretty confident we've learnt more from today's one hour phone in than we would have from a months worth of the usual turgid preseason page fillers that are usually churned out.

Would only be of interest to me if it was Exeter or Barnet away for ground purposes. Missed Exeter twice due to the late call off a few years back and the frozen Boxing Day fixture. I travelled to the first and actually went to the ground as usual and was at my sister's 10 miles away in the snow at Christmas!

Exeters ground is exactly 30 miles West from my house

What's it like living in a forest? Wink

That's a work of art Samdy....doubtless drawing  Smiley on the work of Richard Long for inspiration....

His 10 miles on Exmoor is in the Tate.....yours is better.

And as if by magic, he did say 30 miles not 30km's as on the drawing, so its good but factually incorrect Wink

Nope, it's definitely 30 miles but Google maps just decided to only draw the ruler in kilometres.

Yes I am a pedant.

I might be about to "Out Pedant" you. Click in the bottom right of google maps on the little ruler and it will change from km's to miles. Re measure and you will find it roughly ends up on the A35 near the hamlets of Whitchurch Canonicorum, Morcombelake or North Chideock. From this we can deduce that the original poster "Peter Venkelman" probably drinks in the Five Bells occasionally at Whitchurch Canonicorum. Sorry, I like to navigate by Pubs.......... Showing me Age........
