We didn't get a bye so face one of these mouth watering opponents -

Southern Section - West: AFC Wimbledon, Barnet, Bristol Rovers (bye awarded), Coventry City (bye awarded), Exeter City, Newport County, Oxofrd United (bye awarded), Plymouth Argyle, Portsmouth, Swindon Town, Wycombe Wanderers (bye awarded), Yeovil Town.

I pasted this directly from the JPT website, quite funny how they spelled the yellow team from down the road.

Wimbledon or Barnet away suits me.

All those byes. The Johnstone's Paint Trophy is a bit of a farce, isn't it?

Bit of a prob finding a Div 3 Southern side, so we're bound to get a Div 4 outfit.

What's the basis on which the decision to award a bye is made?  Coventry aside, it seems that your chances are considerably boosted by being as tinpot as possible.  Johnstone's Tinpot Paint Pot Trophy.

They draw the byes first to leave8 teams in each section. Effectively when you win your first game you are still in the first round.

Yes and no. Its our most realistic chance of winning something/going to Wembley.

But I don't want to go to Wembley.

So, er. No I suppose.

I see.

What about the chances of getting a derby game, being in a very non-local league as we are now?

What Bristol Rovers or Oxford? No thanks I'd be more than happy to play neither again any time soon, not usually enjoyable match day experiences are they?!
