Rob Beckett yes or no? He's at the assembly hall in town wondered wether it was worth getting tickets?
If I was you i'd go just in case someone punches the cunt in the face, you wouldn't want to miss that!

I know of Rob Beckett but haven't seen much of his stuff but what makes him so bad as a comic to warrant that Vitriol?

Well, yeah, that, and he's not funny in the slightest. So there's actually two reasons.

As someone said, comedy is subjective.
Bill Hicks was absolute quality. Way ahead of his time.
Ditto George Carlin. He made his name as a relatively anodyne standup artist in the 70's, and became legendary in his later years after he gave up the booze and drugs.
Jim Jeffries is a very clever comedian. His on-stage persona comes over as him being a loud-mouthed, uncouth Aussie, but he's is extremely sharp.
Chris Rock, Bill Burr and Ricky Gervais. Brilliant.

Chris rock. is that that shouty, not funny black dude? If it is, he isn't in the slightest bit funny.

No actually I don't like any of those - never really got Lee Evans and I don't find Michael McIntyre funny at all? (Despite the face he lives very close to the school I work at) Joe Pasquale is the squeaky voice man??

Why were there no videos posted on this thread? I might put some of my recent favourites up later, let's go mad, it's Friday!
From the recommendations on here I've enjoyed Louis CK, Steve Hughes, and Bill Burr so far.
