I am going away later this year to a holiday cottage with no WiFi, however I am going to need to do a bit of work whilst I am there. Therefore I am thinking of getting one of these things - are they any good?

Whereabouts are you going? If 3G coverage is patchy it might not be worth it.

Northumberland - that's the concern I have - it will only be to pick up emails as there is a cafe in the village with free wifi which I would visit for a brew if I needed much more!

Ah - a little bit of googling and I see what to do, having tried it here I fear its going to be bloody slow, but probably no slower than a dongle which will be using the same network.  Crash
