Strong rumour up to £15 million.
Did I read once a 20% sell on clause ?

Any takers ?

Surely any sell on would have been on the Burnley to QPR transfer.

Think our sell on expired when he went from Burnley to QPR...

Would have thought so but clauses can still be active in future moves.

Well it would be an unexpected windfall......just that sort of thing never seems to happen to us.  We're more a get fuck all from Sean Morrison's 5 mill sale....when we flogged him for 250K due to a buy out clause.

I suspect in some cases it is those sort of buy-out clauses that get the players here in the first place.

Big club but lagging behind in PL stakes - think he could've done better.

If he gets goals he will be a god up there - already got the support of Shearer encouraging him to go up there - plus if they get a decent manager who knows?.

I am not sure who bigger would go for him - and if they did it would probably only be on a rotation basis.

McClaren nailed on for manager there so depends on whether you judge him on Boro, Twente, Derby or England.

Spot on.

Score goals and he'll become a legend in the mould of Jackie Milburn, Supermac, Alan Shearer and Cole the Goal to name but a sprinkling

Would need to keep his head screwed on and remain free from injury but a great prospect

Liverpool should have bought him instead of Ings if they wanted an English striker

People forget just how big Newcastle are, probably due to them being shit and all the infighting.

They have the 3rd highest attendances in the PL, they should be in the top 6 each season.
