RE: Nathan Thompson: my City supporting work colleagues still absolutely loathe the guy to the point that it's very funny indeed! As I point out to them, football has clearly changed when Nathan Thompson, Jack Stephens and Harry Toffolo are considered footballs evil, VILE, embarrassing villains. After the 0-3, one of said work colleagues waited to shout abuse at the Swindon players as they boarded the coach. Apparently a women shouted something abusive at Nathan Thompson and he responded back, I'm told it didn't go down too well
RE: OTIB: I haven't been on there for a while but the last time I braved it there were a few City supporters highlighting the contradictions of the current hatred.
Statement: 'SWINDLE WE'RE SINGING VILE SONGS ABOWT FLINT. ITS EMBARRESIN.'
Response: We always sing similar songs about rival players.
Statement: 'GIT GLADWIN IN FROM SWINDLE HE LOOKS QUALITY'
Response: We slag them off all season for being diving, immoral cheats yet we won't stop talking about signing their players?
There's rationality in there if you look hard enough.
