Congratulations to JT !  Fully deserved IMO.  But surely time this feud between the club and the Adver was resolved.

Interesting we've voted our defenders Players of the Season four years running now. Shows the divide between fan and league players of the season, which generally seem to go to attacking players with very visible statistics.

Well deserved anyway. Over the season, easily our most consistent performer.

I think a season-long loanee is fair enough.

Player's Player of the season is typically an attacker because it's the person the players wouldn't want to play against. Minds typically go to the person who'd get past them as opposed to the one who'd stop them I would imagine.

It's so passive aggressive I'm surprised it wasn't written on a post-it attached to the fridge.

Which crazy because, and correct me if I'm wrong, the Adver prize is the Swindon Town's 'main' Player of the Year award.

I imagine that's because the club aren't co-operating with them

I'm getting fucked off with this Adver lockout. They helped with the atmosphere up at Sheffield by donating £200 towards the streamers. Without them, it couldn't have happened.

Also, people like my Nan who can't check FLIC Wiltshire or Total Sport online but love to keep an eye on Swindon Town have no up to date news articles about the club. She gets the Advertiser delivered every day to keep up to date with Swindon and the club. She saw the article with me and their donation and it made her day.

I might start a petition to either have the club publicly say what their issue is with the Adver or to at least start some sort of dialogue between the two parties so they can begin to solve this issue.
