For lack of a better word. I couldn't be bothered to write "He played a lot for us and played a lot of consistently good performances and was a solid player for us the entire time so he deserves a bit of love from us"

Better?

In comparison to using the word legend? Yeah, it's much better.

I felt a bit odd calling him a legend, but I gave into laziness.

Good mate of mine is a big Blade. Reliably informs me to avoid anywhere near the ground, particularly on London Road. The Howard and the Rutland by the station seem to be the best options.

I think that's where I went ...good grub too....you look up to it from the station and cross the carriageway.

Are there generally a few town fans in the duke for TV games? Been meaning to go but either been elsewhere or at the games.

This is the first play off game in 25 years  that I won't be watching at the ground.

Feel rather sad, but based on my record at away matches over the last few years, it could well be a good thing!

I hope the streamers or whatever go well Jay.
