I just thought it was interesting that all the controversy surrounding him 'just happened', like it all took place of its own accord. The lady interviewer seemed to be the only one asking pertinent questions. I feel Mr Ranger may be a bit disappointed when he tries to get back into football next season, having effectively taken half a season off.

Never knew he was here until Newcastle poached him off of us. He seemed genuine when he said he'd love to come back and had respect for us, having obviously seen how the club operates twice now.
He's clearly a nutter but a nutter who is a good footballer so there will always be someone willing to take him on. He should comfortably be playing in the championship at worse. I just don't see him growing up enough to be worth the risk for us any time soon, if ever.

That was surprisingly good viewing. Poor kid just can't help himself. Doesn't blame the clubs for sacking him, recognises he keeps going off the rails but doesn't really seem to learn as he goes along. Said he doesn't have an agent - if anyone ever needed a good guiding influence… But he'd probably only find the wrong sort.

I really wanted them to ask why the hell he had his name tattooed on his head. But as others have said the 2 guys were only really Interested in the tame questions, and didn't let the woman who may have asked, have much time. Pity that. |
