Am I right in thinking that Rochdale could achieve their highest ever league position this season?

Correct. We finished 9th last time we came up and then KH got lured away by the singles after that. We're on course to make history!

He's ditched the flat cap but every now and again he busts the pink chinos out and embarrassed the fuck out of us all

Correct. We finished 9th last time we came up and then KH got lured away by the dingles after that. We're on course to make history!

I laughed when I read one of his quotes

"You can compare us at the moment to a bit of soft porn - there is an awful lot of foreplay and not a lot going on in the box"

I like Keith Hill and was really surprised to read his comments pre-match especially as he was probably the most complimentary any opposition manager has been about us all season when they beat us at the CG. Now all is clear - it was an attempt at mind games which didn't really work Hmmm

Fair play to the 'dale though. Not wanting to sound patronising but to achieve what they have on crowds around the 2,000 mark is nothing short of miraculous. It's funny how certain managers just seem to be made for certain clubs and that seems to be the case with KH.

Have you ever read 'Kicking In The Wind' 1907? I would assume any self respecting Dale fan would have done. It is definitely one of the best football books I've ever read and would recommend it to anyone. Absolutely fascinating.

Good luck for the rest of the season and next.

He said in his interview post game it was a wind up that went wrong. I do like that soft porn analogy not come across that before (no pun intended)

The lasses on my holidays years back were always game.
Love Rochdale me like.

On the other hand years ago We got chased out of Rochdale in Old Town Red's Mums prize  "Moggy Minor" Smiley. He kind of borrowed it one Saturday Morning without telling her.
All I remember is he was driving it down a cobbled street the wrong way being chased by about 15 Novern' lads.
Surprised the fucking wheels stayed on the cobbles Smiley
We won 1-0 that day with Colin Gordon scoring if my memory serves me correctly.

Up the Dale Smiley
