Ha, now that I wouldnt mind. I think Wigan are dead and buried though.
New manager might just give them a boost, a draw away at Fulham wasn't a bad start.

http://www.football-league.co.uk/news/article/2015/football-league-statement-rotherham-united-2397427.aspx

Rotherham may be facing points deduction for feilding an ineligible player in a game they won so that will put them well and truly back in the relegation mix if it happens.

Couldn't happen to a nice manager.

Point deduction that could actually mean something.... thus suspect that the Football League will bottle it - although it is a small club....

The FA will bottle it, too much of a threat of a drawn out legal challenge.

If Plymuff had made it through the PO's they'd have been well and truly fucked.

Not a lot there on the new ground front....be ace for R4E and Horlock mind, be able to get to 14 or so away games wth minimal travel.

Thanks for the kind thoughts Reg   Smiley it will indeed be an interesting year to be a NW based town fan... although with my track record for witnessing woeful Town performances, not sure how many games I will aim to attend.

I'll probably aim to go to as many away days up to Crewe. Anything further than that I'll have to play by ear.

I know it's early, but Bristol City, Preston & Franchise struggling in the Championship so far, all three sides in the bottom 5 at present.

I wonder how we'd have coped had we won at Wembley!?

Not very well I would imagine but it would be nice to have a season up there again.

Here in Bedminster, the Bristol City feel good factor has pretty much gone. Drunks are no longer stumbling home chanting the 'No, No, No' Flint song (which was a regular occurrence until about 3-4 weeks ago).

At the back end of last season, I said we'd be better off not going up, because of the difficulty of rebuilding and it being  a bit easier at this level.

How difficult that can be has been shown by our recent travails....getting stuffed every week, as can be seen from the responses on here, doesn't go down well, and we're only talking 3 defeats in 4.

The Championship is wildly skewed by the number of clubs with parachute money, and then clubs with historic large fan bases.

I still maintain that our focus for this season has to be get to 52 points...
