So the good wife has taken me to London for a surprise birthday night.We are getting there in half hour and looking to take in a matinee...anyone know the best way to get last minute cheap tickets??

You can approach the Theatre itself, or alternatively, you will find tickets available at outlets in the Covent Garden are.

There's an outlet at Piccadilly Circus, one in Leicester Square... they'll only give you good prices on certain shows though depending on availability etc. Going to the theatre box office can be worth a shot but the super cheap tickets tend to go in the morning.
