I love him.  I'll scream "I want your babies" and cheer every time he touches the ball.  Considering he was second top scorer one year, I think you lot are being a touch harsh.  He was a class act for the club, but had a couple of flaws to his game - but then most of the worthless cunts playing for the club do!

Gurney is a battler which is just what we need at the moment, if he cuts out the Beckham-esque 40 yrd passes to nobody and needless bookings then he'll be a good signing.

Which Gurney will come out of the tunnel?

One of our best players a few seasons ago, or the liability he was before he left?

Hope King has got this one right.    :old:

I personally think that a bad reception is pointless.  If a player gets a good reception, it gives them encouragement and confidence and increases their likelihood of performing well.  If you get off to the wrong foot so to speak it isn't going to do the team any favours.

If I was here not on holiday I for one would be applauding him and I would suggest that other Swindon fans should do the same.

Yep, Lady what you said is true, but the thought and logic behind it didnt stop idiots getting on David Dukes back.....away at Tranmere all the fans cheered his every touch and he was a different player.

I'm clap him, I'll be nice to him....no doubt at least 72 times in the match he will frustrate me with a 'Beckham pass' or something.

"away at Tranmere all the fans"

Booing players of the team you support isn't called being a fan!  The idiots that do it are mainly pikeys and go to one or two games a season!

Mr Negative needs to be a Mr Positive me thinks!

Anyway, off up old town for a few more beverages!!!!

I booed Duke Oops I felt totally ashamed afterwards mind.

I've never booed a player although I have hurled abuse at players, Ifil for example.

It'd surprise me if Gurney gets any sort of reception to be honest.
