Been a while since we've had a new music thread and I always enjoy them, so thought I'd propose a new theme: songs by bands who were one hit wonders or at least are only remembered for one song, other than the song they're famous for.

I'll start us off with Boston, who are generally known as "that band that did More than a Feeling" - at least in the UK, apparently they did much better in the States.

Yes, but let's not be pedantic here, best remembered for WSoP.

What about the Pushbike Song? I'd name that before In the Summertime as their biggest hit.

That was The Mixtures, an aussie band trying to copy MJ's jug band vibe.
I'm almost too embarrassed to admit I know that.

Generally only known for Danger Zone, Kenny Loggins is in fact a musical god who also did sterling work on Footloose. Yes, he's not as obscure as some of the bands on here but I have had this god-damn song going round and round my head for days.

I'm glad you did though, as I'd have been well confused...

Max Romeo, is best remembered for Wet Dream, a classic banned by the BBC.   Here's another gem

The Crash Test Dummies did, however, cover a certain Swindon band... this version was more successful in the UK than its original (but long forgotten and therefore applicable).

Babybird are generally only remembered for their misunderstood mid 90s hit 'Your Gorgeous', this is a much more recent track, with a video directed, bizarrely, by Johnny Depp

(apologies, embedding youtube links seems to be beyond me)
