Jay did well today.

Always makes me laugh when people who don't go feel the need to have a pop..

I love it when somebody from Australia or wherever says I'm a negative cunt because i went to blades away and booed the manager and performance.....

Hope he organises something at Preston when it could well be winner takes all.....

I didn't go today but like others I shit myself the entire second half listening to the wireless.....we held on and it sounded like we wanted it.....I reckon they did well today.

I will be there on Tuesday to see the mighty Swindon break tradition and actually put in a performance against Donny and win three points towards auto promotion.....

I don't get the time wasting comments, there were 6 minutes of added time. You waste time, it gets added on.. simples.

I don't get it. I haven't dissed what jay has done, just said the photo's seem a little shit.

Am I Jeremy clarkson?!

Have to say though, I'm not keen on all this love in.

What a cunt I am.

Great result, glad to see we ground out a result as I think we needed it.
Didn't go today, brother went though and loved it.
Fair play to you Jay, you've put a lot of time and effort into today, and think your getting some underserved stick. At some point we have all been that type of fan.... Whether it was when we were younger, in our teenage years or grown up, we have all gone through the stage of only caring about the Swindon result and looking forward to watching them, getting behind them and wanting to generate a decent atmosphere.
So fair play to you sir.

Port vale forum is an interesting read haha

No club has ever wasted time when 1-0 up away from home apparently and they deserved at least a point. For all their huff and puff Fods had very little to do

.
Hence why they got 6 minutes of injury time, moaning bastards should stick to making pots.

Like everyone who was there has said, decent atmosphere today. Certainly the best ive heard from eight away games this season.  Good work jay. 590 isn't great though given how we are doing.

We did what was needed today, got ahead and saw it out. It was stressful however, bar the opening 20 mins we didn't get out if first gear. If we had to we would've stepped up in my opinion.

Vale fans saying they should've got a point are forgetting we had 2-3 good chances in the first half and failed to capitalise on a 5-on-2 break amongst other chances in the second. They had 1 good chance?! If that.

Atmosphere was excellent today - well done all involved.

I thought the Port Vale stewards yesterday were first class.
Polite, friendly and joking with the fans.

I think that's been the case for years up there. The only bad experiences I've had at Vale were caused by our players.

I liked one comment from their forum

'If they carry on playing like that they will get found out'

The reason we are playing like that is because we have been found out!

This is the whole post...

If Swindon don't blatantly cheat then they certainly bend the rules!

Their number 2 & 6 went down injured and hobbled off after several minutes of treatment. Within seconds of limping a long the touch line waiting to come back on, the No 2 come back on & was sprinting back towards his own goal to win a through ball. The same can be said for No 6 who again within seconds of limping off was running without any problems & taking throw-ins.

Every one of their defenders were pulling shirts & their keeper went to ground whenever possible. This isn't a case of sour grapes because I went to today's game expecting to see a team in the promotion race full of skilled individuals playing open flowing football being backed by a solid defence drilled in nullifying the opponents strengths.

What I saw was a Swindon team using every trick & bending every rule to stop the Vale from going toe-to-toe with a bogie side pushing for promotion. Unfortunately the referee was unable too or the rules don't allow him to penalise cheating footballers feigning injuries. Either way Swindon won't achieve much using that brand of football and sooner or later they will be found out!
