We were 3-0 up against you in around 04-05 and you came back to 3-3

We missed out on promotion that season by goal difference

you have the curse, Swindon!

Remember that well.

Nearly broke a bloody shin celebrating the equalizer thanks to the shitty leg room in the away.

Although as you rightly point out its miles better than our "away" end

Remember that game as well.
At 3-3 both teams had a chance in the last few minutes to win the game.

Vale had Billy Paynter up front that night and another forward (a Scot) that the name escapes me who was a great player at the time.
Scored a couple that night I believe.
Also remember getting to Vale Park and the game being called off.
Similar to us always had financial challenges Smiley
Used to be rough as fuck in the 80's. Remember getting a lift back to the station in a riot van Smiley

That was Steve McPhee. Went out to the Portuguese league and then back to England to play for Championship Hull and Blackpool. Chronic sick note, retired with a knee injury. Now back at Vale coaching the kids.

That's the lad. Always rated him, quick feet and could run with the ball.

I like vale park a lot. Haven't been for a while but looking forward to Saturday. Cracking away end and hopefully a few make the trip.

Well done to jay for his efforts. Will try and make it in for ko!

My first time at Vale Park we stood on an open terrace.
You beat us 3-0 Sad
That was the game Staffordshires Finest gave us a lift in the meat van back to the train station.
Always remember we chucked in Vicious Hamster and he had to lie on the floor as there was no room left.
