Ok so I'm now a newbie to Android having taken the plunge from iOS..

What apps can people recommend?...

Also, I understand you can get emulators for retro gaming.... anyone have any tips on which one to go for?...

Lastly... does Flash Player come in-built with these things, or do you have to download it?

You can use Flash, although I'm not sure why you'd want to. Most (decent) sites are transitioning to HTML5 anyway.

Flash isn't supported much on android browsers now is it? Firefox used to support as older version but I've not used that for donkey's.

What kind of apps are you looking for, games?

I have flashscores app which is good for scores etc plus has a decent live standings section. Useful on a Saturday while at the game.
Also use high5it which gives me alerts for goals etc in town games which is very useful when at home/busy

Flashscores is great and the quickest goal updates I've seen. Handy for accumulators too as it's really easy to 'watch' games and get a notification when something happens in that game (goal, red card, HT/FT etc.).

Livescore is the app I use for my updates. Extremely quick updates too.
