It's all based on the sourest of grapes that they consumed after they lost to us. It's like they need to justify why they lost, they don't appear to be able to give credit to the better side.  Wink

And because they did it once, it means they do it ALL the time, going by their logic that we are a load of cheats based on a couple of instances this season, mainly Stephens going down when holding his head after being elbowed in the face.

Its all a bit pathetic really though isn't it!

And how many yellow cards have we received for diving this season? I remember Williams wrongly received one for his penalty shout a couple of months ago but no others. You'd think a team of diving cheats would have plenty!

Anyway, back off topic.

Anyone going to Oldham? We're going to have sub 250 there tomorrow night aren't we?

Its almost certainly going to be less than 250 Celsius and Fahrenheit, that much is true!

I would be surprised to see many more than 300 Town fans going there on a cold Tuesday night in February.

IIRC they were one of the better footballing sides to come to the CG this season so could be a close game without much "hooooooooofball" Wink .

Trying to work out who I'd rather go up - 82ers or Franchise - is like deciding if I'd rather have syphyilis or gonorhea.

Think I'd get far more fun if the 82ers dipped out.

Both are loathsome relatively new clubs, who bent not only the football rules but natural moral rules to come into existence...however, with the 82ers it was from the ashes of the previously wound up club...even if at major cost to the Ashton Gate 8, but with Franchise, it was at major cost to just about the whole football fraternity....so really no contest.

The people of OTIB do seem to forget that the only club who have actually gone out of business out of the 2 of us is the 82ers.  And at that time they failed to pay many local businesses the debts they owed them.

But they hold the moral high ground.  Clearly.
