I'm not that confident about tomorrow. Tonight's result means a draw would be decent.

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks that. A point wouldn't be a bad result tomorrow.

I'd definately take a point, never a bad result away from home but given the context it might feel that way

A four point gap to third would suit me fine. Huge game tomorrow. I can't see City slipping up to Vale (who have to be the Aston Villa of the lower leagues in terms of how utterly innocuous they are). Let's make this a two horse race for the title.

Great result to take some of the pressure off tomorrow's game. Now even a draw leaves us better off than we were this morning, and a win would give us a bit of extra cushion. This is the period where we need to assert ourselves, before things get tricky late in the season.

Looking forward to my first trip to Oldham. I'll be there because I'm a proper fan. And it's only half an hour away.

I haven't been there since the early 90s but that was a cold day too (probably August  Smiley ).

It was August, if that was the match Ossie Ardiles came on as sub, late '80s. And it was bloody freezing although high summer in the rest of the UK.

Quite what Kas and Mass will make of it....

Wilf, I was at this match as well. 2-2 from recollection? I remember standing on the terrace in the pouring rain thinking what the Fxxx I was doing there.  Froze to death.  Think it was 88.

I too was there. That would have been Ossie's second and final appearance for the Club as a player.

I was just going to say that I hope DNG does us a favour tonight at Trashton Gate, until I read this saying he has been released by Vale. Missed this last week.

Yep. Got two t-shirts, jumper, jacket, body warmer and a coat with me today. Plus hat and gloves. Hopefully I'll survive.
