Seeing as Shaw Rosso is still AWOL (hope he's OK and returns to his duties soon) and the rest of you cunts are either still asleep or too hungover to log on......

I will be setting off around 11 o'clock hoping to see a win of some kind for the lads and keeping my fingers crossed that the weathermen are over-hyping the poor weather forecast for this afternoon/early evening.

Yes, hope Shaw is OK..

Anyway not going to this one, which is rubbish as it's so close Sad But I think I'd be happy with a draw today.

Be a real good pointer of a game today.

We must be due a draw - seems ages since we did - but I'm going for an emphatic 3-0 win

Smudge x2 and Turnbull. 5612 in attendance with 1125 from these here parts

My first game of the season today, but must be my fourth visit to the Bescot now. Always a trip I've enjoyed, let's hope today is no different!

Im delighted to say my friends are ill.  As a result, no going to theirs for a nice chat and a walk with the kids.  So I get to drive 2 hours to Walsall in the rain!

I hugged a stranger last time I was there and Zaboub (I think) equalised.  I promise no hugging today.

I'm still trying to recover from the trauma of my first away day at Walsall Feb 66. 0-3 down after 25 mins, with Pete Downsborough, of all people, having a mare.

In the Saddlers side that day, one Gerry Summers, at the time who'd have thought he'd be manager of Oxford, when they won at the CG for the first time in 73, and Pikeys, for the infamous Ken Price Dean White game.

Let's hope Gerry is steering well clear of the Bescot this afternoon, as I suspect we'll need all the help we can get.

3-0 to us, and Ralphy to end up in Benidorm.

We can't be as sluggish and as out of form as last weekend so should be okay for at least a draw. 1-1 or 2-1 win,Williams with the goal or goals
